Most organizations don’t struggle because they lack a logo.
They struggle because their brand lacks structure. Messaging shifts depending on where it appears, visual elements are applied inconsistently, and each new website page, ad, or campaign becomes a fresh debate instead of a repeatable decision.
Brand and identity work at Purple Pig is about creating clarity. We focus on brand strategy, logo design, and visual identity systems that are meant to be used in the real world. The objective is not just to make something look good, but to establish a foundation that supports ongoing marketing, growth, and decision-making.
Brand Design Built Around Positioning and Use
Effective brand design starts with understanding how an organization should be positioned and how it needs to be perceived in its market.
before any visual work begins, we clarify the underlying brand direction. This includes defining what the organization stands for, how it differentiates itself, and what it needs to communicate consistently across channels. Visual decisions are then made to reinforce that positioning rather than compete with it.
Typography, colour systems, layout rules, and supporting visual elements are developed as part of a single system. The brand
Logo Design with a Clear and Structured Process
When logo design is part of the scope, it is approached as a structured design process rather than a one-off creative exercise.
We begin by developing three distinct logo concepts, each based on the agreed-upon positioning and brand direction. These are not templates or AI-generated starting points. All logo concepts are designed by hand and built intentionally from the ground up.
From there, refinement happens through collaboration and iteration. We offer unlimited revisions because strong logos are rarely found in a single pass. This allows the final mark to be resolved properly, rather than rushed to fit an arbitrary revision limit. The logo is always designed to function within a broader identity system, not to carry the entire brand on its own. This results in identities that are more flexible, more durable, and easier to apply across marketing materials.
Visual Identity Designed for Digital and Ongoing Marketing
A brand identity is only effective if it holds up in real use.
Because we design websites and manage ongoing visibility as well as branding, visual identity decisions are made with digital environments in mind from the start. Logos must work across screen sizes and layouts. Typography must support hierarchy and readability online. Visual systems must scale across websites, landing pages, ads, and long-term content without breaking down.
The result is a brand that looks intentional wherever it appears, not just in a brand guide.
New Brands, Refreshes, and Identity Refinement
Brand and identity work takes different forms depending on the situation.
Some clients need a brand created from scratch. Others require a refresh because their current identity no longer reflects the organization or supports modern marketing. In some cases, the brand itself is sound, but the structure around it is weak or incomplete, which leads to inconsistency. We are deliberate about identifying which scenario applies and recommending only the level of work that will actually improve results.
Each engagement is scoped around what will bring clarity and long-term usefulness, not around producing assets for their own sake.
Let’s talk about your brand and identity
If your brand feels unclear, inconsistent, or difficult to apply across your website and marketing, it is usually a sign that structure is missing somewhere. We will help you determine whether the issue is brand strategy, logo design, or visual identity systems, and outline a practical path forward.
